I have moved the old messages from 2020 and earlier to an archive so that the messages here aren't referring to an outdated version of the page. That is all. — Geodude Chatmod.png (talk | contribs | email)‎‎ . . 20:01, 15 July 2022 (MDT)

Versatile Mold's Balance[edit]

This is the biggest flag for me on the page. There is no precedent for a race being able to take resistance against the nonmagical weapon trinity damage of BPS (bludgeon, pierce, slashing). These are even more common than fire damage. Additionally, this race already is resistant against acid damage. The ability to have one of the three BPS resistances every long rest seems like too much, all else considered. Thematically, it obvious makes sense since you are a globby thing. But this is one of the reasons perhaps why slime races were excluded for so long from 5e. Even the remotely officialized content from Spelljammers, the UA Plasmoid, does not have this weapon damage resistance. Instead, it has acid and poison resistance, which are arguable less common.--Yanied (talk) 13:54, 16 July 2022 (MDT)
