Talk:Physical Enhancer (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
-"Shouldn't outright give Class Features"- Martial Adept and Fighter Initiate does that very thing. --Angelican Elf Master (talk) 21:15, 4 March 2021 (MST)
- I may be reading this feat wrong, but wouldn't you be able to take Mastery of Death (Way of the Long Death) or Quivering Palm (Way of the Open Hand)? If so, then this is beyond broken (imo at least). Draelm (talk) 06:58, 5 March 2021 (MST)
- What? How would gaining extra maximum Ki do any of that??? --SwankyPants (talk) 07:00, 5 March 2021 (MST)
- And I completely glazed over that part. Oops. --SwankyPants (talk) 07:01, 5 March 2021 (MST)
- Lmao I was going to point that part out now. I'm going to add the argument anyways:
- "...and one ability from the monk or mystic class (respectively) that uses these points. (Such as flurry of blows)". "ability" in 5e refers only to "ability checks", which is obviuosly not the case here, so what is? If we take flurry of blows as an example, then at least Patient Defense and Step of The Wind would be allowed. But why would we stop there? Why wouldn't we take Stunning Strike? Or a feature from one of the monk subclasses (a "monk" ability) that uses Ki points? Draelm (talk) 07:07, 5 March 2021 (MST)
