Ok, changes done, now yanied can you check these other 2? Appoplexian (5e Race) and Vaxasauriano (5e Race), I think that I need you experienced eye --Mr. Knight 23:13, April 6 2024

Ok, so this has a versatile element of AC, which means it is 100% better than any official unarmored defense. So that uses up a lot of the balance budget. Reflecting damage as a race in addition to already having resistance is also a lot. Those two alone could make a base race, just saying. The reflection is also in need of restriction if you really want to keep it (is this like shield against magic missile?).
  • Atomic structure control gives you 4d6 ranged weapon damage with no range constraint as a normal attack, which is pretty bonkers at first level.
  • Durable outclasses the already strong hill dwarf's hp gain. It should really only be increased by 1 and continually increased by 1 per level...
  • I'd recommend scaling other stuff down and then getting rid of the vulnerability.
  • "additional action" i assume is bonus action. It should probably use some wording similar to the Axostome (5e Race) for the hit dice expenditure part. The fragment rebirth is like weird flavor, since Petropia might not even exist in a setting (and definitely not in base dnd).
  • A different form of life trait is very very vague. I'm assuming you mean they are constructs? Well, in that case, they should use the Animated Armor (5e Race) wording, which also means they cannot heal by normal means! Unless you meant they are living constructs, like warforges, which doesn't help when it comes to lowering the high power level of this race.--Yanied (talk) 18:54, 8 April 2024 (MDT)

All ready, I hope it meets the parameters. --Mr. Knight

This is still quite strong. The hard as diamond and atomic structure control (which still does 4d4 damage as a regular attack) are the focal points, I feel? So the other stuff gets weighed down by those. Crystallized body is very awkward and it also means you are immune to radiant (?). Since this race has HP buffs and AC buffs, I don't think any resistances/immunities are necessary or it goes a bit overboard. Maybe an advantage against X damage would work better? The beginning +5 ASI is also a biggie that I didn't notice. And the lack of artist credit. But the race does seem to be making steps towards balance, so that's good.--Yanied (talk) 19:38, 9 April 2024 (MDT)

The crystallized body thing gives you the possibility to return the radiant damage launched against you to the one causing it, all that in case the attacker fails the saving throw, in which case in case he succeeds in overcoming the petrosapien's saving throw, the pretrosapien will still receive the radiant damage normally as it fails to reflect the attacker's damage, so it's not an immunity or resistance, if it's a strong ability, I put a new limit to its uses. I also made some changes with the projectiles, I hope it will be more comfortable. --Mr. Knight 14:50, 15 April 2024

Hmm, so it's like a gamble trait. It confused me since the original flavor said "your body is capable of absorbing or reflecting it without harming." I edited the traits down some more, so let me know your thoughts.--Yanied (talk) 20:22, 16 April 2024 (MDT)

I made a fix concerning the spelling, I hope it's fixed now, but other than that, I like the changes made, thanks for the help again Yanied. --Mr. Knight 22:39, 16 April 2024

Looks good to try out. Cheers.--Yanied (talk) 18:36, 18 April 2024 (MDT)
