Talk:Pervortia (3.5e Deity)
From D&D Wiki
This is an expired abandonment, but I don't believe the reasoning was valid on its own ("sexually explicit"), as this per se isn't disallowed on this wiki. However, I think the page takes the idea of a sex goddess and does nothing interesting with it, and is just immature in places. I want to get the opinions of the wiki community before taking any action, please discuss. Marasmusine (talk) 09:28, 5 September 2018 (MDT)
- I agree that the page is quite immature in many places. I do think it should be deleted. — Geodude (talk | contribs | email) . . 11:19, 5 September 2018 (MDT)
- I find it really mature. It offers all sorts of campaign hooks for that one player who, in the inn, has to look for interesting females. If the player is already bringing sex into the game, this offers the DM all sort of consequences and storylines for the players. --Green Dragon (talk) 23:36, 5 September 2018 (MDT)
- I'm just chiming in to say that I agree with Geodude. I don't see any purpose to this page besides enabling sicko pervs, and I also think it should be deleted. Quincy (talk) 16:36, 6 September 2018 (MDT)
- You need to elaborate. Your opinion is great to hear, but for this page to get deleted you need concrete evidence. I already pointed out two examples of how this deity can actually be a good influence for a campaign. The explicit nature does not need to be used, but rather in the inn the player would find a table of attrative females. After spending the night, they would tell the player that they were actually born as males but that their deity has given them special powers. This could just be the start of a plot hook. --Green Dragon (talk) 23:45, 6 September 2018 (MDT)
- I agree with GD, and I'm glad to see we at least have some lee-way for content that even slightly touches on the idea that sex is a thing. Green Dragon has already made the points as to how it could be a great part of a campaign. If you don't enjoy sexual content, then watch out for the template and don't read the rest. --SgtLion (talk) 09:11, 7 September 2018 (MDT)
