The spell only increases one ability by 1, while the lower-level "enhance ability" spell gives advantage to checks with an ability in addition to another effect. Maybe this spell could be a +2 to all scores for the duration, or just have it be an improved version of that spell that targets two ability scores instead of one? || - Trashfire Cat

Well yes, it does provide advantage to checks, but this is a raw ability score increase for an hour, without concentration. Depending on your level, a +1 to Constitution could do much more than the temporary hitpoints ever could, and a higher AC never hurt anybody. I could still see reason for raising the bonus, or at least allocating it to two scores. --SwankyPants (talk) 23:04, 24 September 2021 (MDT)
