Ability Score Adjustments[edit]
I penalized the female lizardfolk due to the great size advantages male monitor lizards enjoy over females. The lack of intelligence and wisdom was thrown in so that it would be harder to circumvent their weaknesses by becoming mages or druids. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Noname (talk • contribs) 2007-06-05 20:50:21. - -3 strength, -3 constitution, -2 intelligence, -1 wisdom
- Never, ever, ever, ever give odd ability score adjustments. They're a min-maxer's dream. Use even numbers so they affect all characters the same, regardless of what the player originally rolled. —Sledged (talk) 21:46, 6 June 2007 (MDT)
- I would instead give them bonuses to int, wis and/or cha, to make them at least a race that could be considered as a player/race; becoming a mage or a druid does not circumvent weaknesses- it makes them more pro pe nounced. A sorcerer has D4 HD, so the con penalty would make them even more fragile. All it would do is to make them useful in an adventuring party. --Sam Kay 08:59, 7 October 2007 (MDT)
Copyrights[edit]
I have been very careful here and have NOT copied from any official D&D book or website; all information that is unoriginal comes from wikipedia. I added a disclaimer to be on the safe side. Noname 17:03, 23 December 2007 (MST)
- There may be an issue with the Quanak (the race with the link.) I think that the information for it may have come from a D&D site instead of wikipedia. If it needs to be removed, it ought to be with all haste. Still, 90%+ of Paludia's material is in no risk of copyright violation, or even requiring a disclaimer. Noname 17:08, 23 December 2007 (MST)
- By the way, if the information comes from wikipedia, not license is needed. Feel free to remove Template:Copyright Disclaimer on all the pages that have wikipedia information. On the race you mentioned above you should add Template:Copyright Disclaimer. Hope this helps. --Green Dragon 17:19, 23 December 2007 (MST)

Sexual Dimorphism[edit]
Now I appreciate that different sexes have different capabilities as much as the next guy. But reducing the mechanical benefits of Female lizardfolk without reducing LA or giving some other mechanical bonus is basically saying "Never play a FEMALE lizardfolk". I'd suggest alterin' that somehow. --SgtLion (talk) 14:50, 24 August 2016 (MDT)
