Talk:Jabberwock (3.5e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
Much Win[edit]
Finally, someone takes advantage of a awesome poem and makes a great creature for it. All we need now is a campaign based around Wild Hunt. -- Flession 16:31, 4 July 2007 (MDT)
- I'll take that challenge; sounds like it would be useful for both . On a side note, the Jabberwock is listed with speed 20 (6 squares). Which is it? Twenty feet or thirty? --Rakankou 22:05, 4 July 2007 (MDT)
- There's still the jubjub bird and the bandersnatch to be done. —Sledged (talk) 22:07, 4 July 2007 (MDT)
- Toves would be an interesting low-level animal to add as well. Nothing would amuse me more than to be wandering through the grass around a sundial (a wabe) in the ruins of an ancient city around the time of 4:00 PM (brillig), listening to the mournful cries of some mop-like birds (mimsy borogoves) and the odd sounds (outgribing) of green pigs (raths) who have lost their way (are mome), when suddenly a slimy and agile (slithy) badger/lizard/corkscrew (tove) were to leap hungrily at the cheese (tove food) I have in my pack. --Daniel Draco 22:40, 4 July 2007 (MDT)
DR[edit]
The DR for a CR6 creature should be CR 5/slashing. DC for the confusion is a bit high. Duration of the confusion is a bit high. Compare this to the more difficult umber hulk. --Dmilewski 05:53, 5 July 2007 (MDT)
