Talk:Demolitionist (5e Class)

I need a bit of help finding a quarter-caster table to put into the Font of the Arcane section. I think this wiki calls them third-casters, but the point is that I don't know if there's a template for it out there, and I don't want to risk messing anything up by just grabbing parts of the Class Features template. Flavor text will be coming soon, as soon as I write it. I just wanted to get the mechanical side out of the way, first and foremost. --St. Noof (talk) 10:09 1 March, 2016 (EST)

Perhaps Duck and Cover should have a limit specified (perhaps Dex modifier amount of times) of how many times that will work.

Would recommend eliminating extra attack. The class is powerful enough without gaining 2 attacks that each do 10d6 to one opponent and 5d6 to another.

Why has this class been nerfed to the point of uselessness? The damage is paltry at 20, 3d6 is not enough when you get 2 attacks and a wizard gets a 5d6 a fireball multiple times?

also ive found this class on DMs guild, and it is far superior and still balanced without this massive damage nerf, so please explain the purpose of the dmg nerf.

This exact same class without a damage nerf is on DMs Guild? Can you please supply us with a link. --Green Dragon (talk) 09:40, 13 March 2018 (MDT)

Hi, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I was wondering when exactly the piercing damage took effect? The page says "If within 5 or higher than their AC", so I was under the impression that if a creature's AC was 13, an 8 (AC-5) or above would hit, but other people are saying that only 18 (AC+5) or above would hit. Who is right? Also, is it okay for me to change the wording a bit after it's been clarified to make the meaning clearer? Sorry again for any mistakes (I'm new here), and thank you! -- WildKatGirl 17:43, 25 June 2018 (BST)

Combatant archetype seems a little weak

Does Creating explosives use up the Explosives kit and Alchemist's kit? is there a limit to how many can be made before the kits run out of supplies? -- 22:41, 18 April 2022 (EST)
