Featured Article Nominee[edit]
Please feel free to re-nominate it once it meets the FA criteria and when all the major issues brought up in this nomination have been dealt with.
This race has the potential to be a featured article. I am nominating this page as a featured article, with the reservation that it may need a little polishing work before it gets approved. This page needs to be supported, commented, or opposed from within our community, and double checked for conformation to featured article formatting and content standards by someone who will then let us know how well it meets these criteria. --Green Dragon (talk) 22:30, 21 January 2018 (MST)
- Comment - I've reworded and touched up a few traits here and there but I'm not sold on the balance of this race. I think the image should be changed to something of higher quality and the suggested characteristics added to and reworked to be broader and less edgy. - Oppose — This race leaves a lot to be desired, as it doesn't really leave any room to roleplay except you being a crazed warrior of some kind that loves to kill things. The race also appears to be far stronger than most other races due to the race having a number of powerful combat focused traits, which more than likely make the race too powerful.--Blobby383b (talk) 14:28, 29 January 2018 (MST)
- Voting No. -- They're a bit too overpowered still, with +4 ASI and a bunch of traits; including one that grants them universal advantage on a skill, a transformation, and increased unarmed damage... But most importantly, their lore is just not interesting. They seem more like a 12 year old's OC (no offense to 12 year olds) (Varkarrus (talk) 18:26, 23 January 2018 (MST))
- Oppose — for the reasons already stated. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email) . . 14:33, 29 January 2018 (MST)
- Comment - I have failed this FA nomination. Once the issues have been addressed, it may be re-nominated. --Green Dragon (talk) 08:20, 5 March 2018 (MST)
- Comment - Hello. I'm the creator of the page and have heard your criticisms of the race. The reason I've ignored them is that I was honestly surprised to see this page get nominated. When I created the race, it was a means to experiment rather than some grand idea I thought had to be brought to D&D. Having seen all of your comments, I've removed the Demonic Shift trait: you must understand that that was not part of the original race, somebody added that randomly so removing it wasn't a huge loss. As for other ways to fix the race, I wanted to discuss it with the rest of you, come up with ideas for alternative traits, if any need to be fixed, and help me think up something to make the lore more interesting. .--Dinomaster337 (talk) 6 March 2018 (MST)
