Talk:Cantrip Combatant, 2nd Variant (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
While the requirements are a bit precise, I don't think it's beyond precedent to have a feat that is highly specialized. Heavy Armor Master requires a proficiency that only 2/3 classes have. Then of course there are the racial feats which are as exclusive as you can get. Looking at this again, it appears powerful enough without the +1 ASI. --Malachai (talk) 11:00, 7 December 2021 (MST)
Thing is, there are cleric subclasses that get heavy armor proficiency and there are feats that grant different armor proficiencies, which makes Heavy Armor Master more accessible. --Lavie (talk) 11:03, 7 December 2021 (MST)
- I would have to disagree on the thought that it's too limited. Hell, it's far from exclusive with v. human. Just pick up magic initiate, EB, and then take any class that gives you multiattack. Far from a short list of possible combinations. --SwankyPants (talk) 11:04, 7 December 2021 (MST)
- This is all beside the point as by itself the feat adds too much to your damage with Green-Flame Blade (5e Spell) and levels should not be required on feats. As such I have readded templates to this page for these reasons. --Blobby383b (talk) 11:21, 7 December 2021 (MST)
