Talk:5.5e Species Design Guide

As a note, using a modified version of the Marasmusine Meter (5e Guideline) (which, when I was making it, I called the One D&D Meter), most races fall under a 2.5-3 point range, with the only outliers being Halflings (which with the current scoring system would only score 2 points) and Elves (which score 3.16 points)

As such, there is potential to try and focus on balancing it to be within that range for 5.5e - which I have tried to do for a 5e race I had made.

Also, I am open to suggestions as to how to tweak said meter, especially regarding giving drawbacks - and once the 5.5e SRD is out, I would further tweak things based on what it gives for new species. Latius (talk) 10:19, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
