Weapon (shortsword), legendary (requires attunement) Durendal is one of the four Swords of Power, and like them, it is a stone shortsword with power over a specific element, Durendals' being air. The only difference between the four swords is their hilts, and looks ashy grey. This weapon has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls, and on a hit deals an additional 2d6 lightning damage. This weapon also grants its wielder resistance to lightning damage. Sword of Air. You may cast the fly spell on yourself with no material or somatic components as an action for 1 charge. This weapon has 3 charges, all of which are recharged at dawn. The Melding of Power. If you choose, you can meld two or more swords, which belong in the Sword of Power set, together, costing one action for two and two actions for three. Melding four costs a short or long rest and creates the Hook of Aether. A melded sword stacks all of their magical properties and stats, but not normal shortsword damage (i.e. a melded sword does a base 1d6 piercing plus +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls and 2d6 cold/fire/lightning/bludgeoning damage equal to the number of swords melded).
