Applying the technological concept of the disruptor to the heavy frame of the Type-25 Brute Shot, the shock rifle fires bolts of electricity converted from slightly modified Covenant plasma cartridges. Plasma Cartridge. This weapon uses a single plasma cartridge as ammunition. Each shot uses 25% of its charge, and reloading takes an action or bonus action. High Explosive. Each attack with this weapon targets all creatures within 55 ft. of the target. For every 5 ft. these "secondary targets" are from the initial target, they take two fewer damage dice. On a miss, targets take half as much damage unless they are benefitting from cover. Cumbersome. Wielders not wearing a variation of Mjolnir armor or a Strength score of 20 can not move on the same turn they make an attack with this weapon. Reloading this weapon takes an action. Shield Breaker. This weapon deals twice as much damage to temporary hit points. EMP. When a vehicle is hit by an attack with this weapon, the target gains 3 level of EMP. If they do not gain any levels of EMP between the end of their previous and current turn, they lose all levels of EMP.
