A beam of crackling energy streaks toward a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 force damage.

At Higher Levels. The spell creates more than one beam when you reach higher levels: The number of beams increases by one at 3rd level (2), 5th level (3), 7th level (4), 9th level (5), 11th level (5), 11th level (6), 13th level (7), 15th level (8), 17th level (9), and 19th level (10). You can direct the beams at the same target or at different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each target.
