You create a serrated edge of metal to strike at a creature within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d4 slashing damage, and at the end of each of their turns they take additional slashing damage equal to half of the last slashing damage the target took by this spell (rounded down), ending when the damage is reduced to 1 or 0.
This spell's damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
