Staff, rare (requires attunement) This staff can be used as a weapon and a spellcasting focus. Its appearance is of a long wooden staff, tipped by a large hexagonal bell at the end, inscribed with numerous arcane glyphs and deliberate perforations to the bell's metal, through which its hollow interior can be sighted. Enhanced Weapon. This staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff that grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. Arcane Firearm. The special sigils of power inscribed throughout the handle and bellhead allow this staff to be used as a spellcasting focus for your artificer spells. When you cast an artificer spell through the firearm, roll a d8, and you gain a bonus to one of the spell's damage rolls equal to the number rolled. Imbued Wood Handle. The staff's handle is carved out of Lamannian Oak, a special material with particular propensity for channeling thunderous energy. When you cast a damage-dealing spell using this item as your spellcasting focus, you gain a +1 bonus to one damage roll of the spell, provided the damage is thunder. |
