Only, the sword was a farewell gift, and acceptance signified the knight's resignation from Elfriede's service.
The wielder of this blade gains +3 to attack and damage rolls with the weapon. This weapon holds 6 charges, 1d4+1 of which are restored at dawn.
As a bonus action, by spending a charge, the wielder can enwreathe the blade in a black flame that remain for 1 minute. Attacks with this weapon while it is on fire deal an additional 1d6 fire and 1d6 necrotic damage.
