Omni-Directional Mobility Gear (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Weapon (rapier), Uncommon

The gear is used to enable its user to navigate in a 3D space. This means that it allows the user to be able to go in any direction with the use of grappling hooks and a mechanism to help pull the wearer to where the hooks are anchored.

As a weapon, they have blades with handles similar to that of a gun trigger. Their blades are extremely durable and sharp enabling them to carve through a titan’s flesh. With the gear, users can then seemingly fly or powerfully thrust their way through their targets and attack them with their blades. Each individual blade counts as a light & finesse weapon dealing 1d8 slashing damage on a hit.

---

Note that there are a couple of disadvantages to using this gear. The user has to shoot at something within 40 feet, or else the reel runs out and they won't hook unto anything. On activation of the gas feature, it will only propel the user to HALF it's movement speed for one turn. If in midair, this allows the user to move that amount of feet in midair. The gas can only be used 3 times before needing to be replaced, and each gas can costs approximately 5 to 20 gold (Consult with your game master for their ruling).
