Magma Wyrm Scalesword (5e Equipment)

From D&D Wiki

Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement)

Curved greatsword wielded by Magma Wyrms. The shape resembles a dragon's jaw and is covered in hard scales. It's said these land-bound dragons were once human heroes who partook in dragon communion, a grave transgression for which they were cursed to crawl the earth upon their bellies, shadows of their former selves.

You gain a +2 to attack and damage rolls with this magic weapon, and deal an additional 1d8 fire damage when you hit with this magic weapon.

This weapon has 6 charges and regains 1d6 expended charges daily at dawn.

Magma Guillotine. For 1 charge, as an action, you leap into the air, gripping this weapon with both hands and slamming it down into the ground. Magma bursts from the ground in a 10-foot radius around you, coating the ground before it hardens after a minute. The area is difficult terrain until the magma dissipates. Any creature that enters the area for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there takes 5d6 fire damage. The radius of the magma increases by 5 feet for each additional charge you expend. You are immune to the damage from your own magma generated by this weapon.
