Locacaca (JJBA Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
Wondrous item, Rare Pink, pomegranate-like, fruit with the smell and taste of figs, the locacaca has the bizarre property of equivalent exchange. Originating from New Guinea, any source of locacaca is hunted down and either taken or destroyed by the mysterious Locacaca Organization in order to ensure that they alone can distribute it to the world's ultra-wealthy at prices fitting its godly power. Locacaca The natural form of locacaca, when consumed, cures a creature of any conditions, any diseases, all levels of exhaustion, or any other ongoing effects, or 1 body part is returned to its highest tier's maximum hit points, or they regain their maximum hit points, after which one body part is destroyed, rolled from the critical hit table, as it turns to stone.
A grafted branch of the locacaca plant, a mutation caused its fruit to become more gourd-like, and its exchange to be able to effect another creature. When consumed, the creature becomes paralyzed for 1 minute. Any creature that touches them takes 1d4 necrotic damage to one of their body parts at the beginning of each of their turns (every 6 seconds). For every 10 damage dealt, the creature that ate the fruit loses 1 condition, 2 disease, or 1 level of exhaustion, or they or one of their body parts regain 10 hit points, which can be done to body parts that are destroyed.
An experimental liquid drug made of refined locacaca, 2651 is more stable, making the chances of debilitating effects less likely. When consumed, 2651 cures a creature of any conditions, any diseases, all levels of exhaustion, or any other ongoing effects, or 1 body part is returned to its highest tier's maximum hit points, or they regain their maximum hit points, after which one body part's highest tier's maximum hit points are reduced by 12, rolled from the critical hit table, as it turns to stone. If a body part's maximum hit points are lower than 12, its next tier's maximum hit points are reduced by any remaining portion of this reduction. |
