Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement)

This lasso was built for Amazons, a powerful warrior race full of women that died out a long time ago, to be the end-all-be-all for espionage and finding spies. It is a golden rope that seems to tighten itself around any creature that its thrown onto.

Indescribable Truth. When this lasso is thrown over a humanoid, the humanoid is grappled by the lasso and, by the associative property, you. While grappled in this way, the creature must make a Charisma saving throw DC equal to 8 + the bearer's Wisdom modifier + the bearer's proficiency bonus. On a failure, the lasso makes the creature tell the truth no matter what. On success, the creature can tell a lie. This saving throw is repeated for every question asked of the creature and the DC increases by 1 for every success. This cycle stops when the creature fails the saving throw.
