Lasso of Hestia (5e Equipment)
Weapon (whip), legendary (requires attunement) Born from the fires of Hestia, the Lasso of Hestia acts as a whip until it wraps around a creature. Anyone hit by the Lasso must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or be grappled by it. Once wrapped by the lasso, the wielder can ask the creature any question and they must answer truthfully. If they are to lie, they must make a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw. Any creature that lies takes 4d12 fire damage on a failed save or half that on a successful save. To break out of the restraints, the creature must make a DC 20 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check(their choice). The wielder of the lasso cannot use it to attack anyone else if it has already have someone grappled by it. The Lasso has one charge that's spent when the Lasso wraps around the target, which recharges daily. |
