Kabutowari (Shinobi World Supplement)

Weapon, Legendary (Requires attunement) One of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist's blades, known as Helmsplitter, is a legendary 'blade'. It's said the 7 ninja who master the 7 blades could take down a nation together. Helmsplitter focuses on destruction of the targets defenses, shredding any armor and slowing unarmored opponents near-permanently. The "Helmsplitter", this is a two handed weapon consisting of a battleaxe and a warhammer, both with the light and finesse property, connected by a metal rope at the base of each handle. This weapon is particularly effective at shredding armor off an enemy. These weapons have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls, and count as magical for the sake of overcoming resistances. Helmsplitter As a bonus action immediately after you hit a creature with an attack using Kabutowari's battleaxe, you may force them to attempt a Strength saving throw with a DC equal to your jutsu saving throw DC as you strike the battleaxe with the warhammer. On a failure, its AC is reduced by -2, permanently damaging the armor or leaving near permanent damage on the target. This penalty can stack to a maximum penalty equal to twice your Strength modifier on a each creature (minimum 2), reducing by 2 at the end of a long rest. Whenever a creature can spend hit dice to regain hit points, they may spend up to 2 hit dice to reducing this penalty by a number equal to the number of dice spent.
