Ice Keese (5e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
Ice Keese[edit]
Tiny fiend, neutral evil Armor Class 15 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Con +1 Cold Absorption. Whenever the ice keese is subjected to cold damage, it takes no damage and instead gains a number of hit points equal to the cold damage dealt. Cold Cloak. The ice keese’s body is eternally cloaked with magical frost. Any creature which directly touches it takes 3 (1d6) cold damage, and must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or be frozen solid, effectively petrified, until the end of its next turn. If the target has resistance or immunity to cold damage, it automatically succeeds on this saving throw. If the target takes any fire damage while petrified in this manner, the conditions ends. Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the keese has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1 piercing damage, and the target is exposed to the ice keese’s cold cloak.

Source The bodies of ice keese appear to be a mix of white and a pale blue, reminiscent of ice and snow. They often feature a flame-like aura of a darker blue. They are most often found in arctic regions, inside icy caverns, or near the peaks of snow-capped mountains. |
