Description[edit]
Developed before the Great War by an AI programmed with the mind of Austrian gun-maker Gaston Glock, the Glock 86 plasma pistol sports a small energy cell powered magnetic housing chamber that propels small bolts of superheated green plasma. Extremely powerful, it punches through most weaker enemies with ease, and even retains its destructive power against more powerful enemies, including those in power armor.
d20 Modern Rules[edit]
The Glock 86 plasma pistol comes with a x1.65 handgun scope pre-attached by default.
Successful critical hits that reduce an enemy to 0 HP or below will reduce the enemy to a pile of bubbling green goop, but all armor, weapons, and equipment on the body remain undamaged.
The beam also instantly ignites any flammable gas it touches, in addition to materials like paper and gun powder.
Weapon Mods/Variants[edit]

- Brotherhood of Steel (Variant): The BOS variant uses the same stats as the regular Glock 86 plasma pistol (including its ability to be modded), except it gains a +1 equipment bonus to Initiative due to expert recalibration techniques and the price increases by +1/+10... and also any BOS members who see you wielding it will attack you on sight unless you're also a member.
Craft/Repair[edit]
- Craft: (Parts DC: 50; Parts Used: 20; Craft DC 35; Time: 60h) The Glock 86 plasma pistol can be crafted at a Weapon Crafting Table with a Craft (mechanical) skill check if the crafter possesses the schematics for it.
- Repair: (Parts DC: 40; Parts Used: 10; Repair DC 25; Time: 10h) An Glock 86 plasma pistol can be repaired with mechanical parts with a Repair check. Alternatively, another Glock 86 plasma pistol or Gun Runner plasma defender can be used in place of parts (a Repair check is still required). This gun is affected by the Jury Rigging feat, and as such can use other plasma weapons for parts if the feat is possessed.
