Components: V, S, M (a rock, which this spell consumes)
Duration: Instantaneous


You toss the rock at a creature or object you can see in range where it explodes in a dazzling pattern of kaleidoscopic lights which disguise the crystalline shards ejecting from the stone. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 bludgeoning damage. Hit or miss, the target and each creature within 10 feet of it makes a Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d10 piercing damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.

If the spell attack is successful, the target has disadvantage on the saving throw. Any creature without blindsight or truesight also has disadvantage on the spell’s saving throw.


At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the bludgeoning and piercing damage both increase by 1d10 for each slot level above 4th.
