Medium humanoid, chaotic evil Armor Class 15 (natural armor)
Skills Acrobatics +3, Athletics +5, Intimidation +3 Unsettling. The first time a creature sees a combat form after each short or long rest, they must attempt a DC 11 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, they are frightened for 1 minute. They may retry this saving throw at the end of each of their turns. Flesh Vehicle. If the combat form is killed by piercing damage that is not from a critical hit, it creates an infection form anywhere within 5 feet. ACTIONSMultiattack. The combat form makes two attacks with its claw. Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage.

In the early stages of a flood infection, flood infection forms plant themselves in the corpses of a planet or installation's native life, piloting it as a flesh vehicle. As an infection reaches the mid-stage, combat forms are typically broken down for biomass, becoming pure forms. Variants: Infected SpeciesDepending on the species infected, combat forms have a variety of slightly different capabilities. Elite. The combat form has 10 temporary hit points. If they do not receive damage for 3 rounds (18 seconds), they regain these temporary hit points. Temporary hit points gained in this manner can not exceed 10.
