Casting time: | 2 actions within 1 minute |
---|---|
Range: | Touch |
Components: | V, S, M (a small sharp object) |
Duration: | Instantaneous |
As part of casting this spell, you must use an action to touch a point on an object and then a second action within one minute of the first to touch a second point on the same object no larger than 1 foot from the first point. The object takes 6d10 force damage, manifesting as a single break, tear, cut, or fracture in the object along a line connecting the two points.
You can use this spell on a creature, or an object being worn or carried by a creature. In either case, the target creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw to avoid your touch for the round.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage dealt by this spell increases by 2d10 for each slot level above 1st. The distance the two points can be from each other also increases by 1 foot for each slot level.
History. Fitzgeralts is a highly eccentric, yet uniquely gifted mage specializing in strange, sometimes practical applications of magical formulae. He developed this spell based off what he called a "simple" fast inversion of the mending cantrip, hence the name.
