Modern cannons, not to be mistaken for historical cannons or autocannons, are massive firearms typically mounted on tanks, aircraft, and other military vehicles as mobile artillery and anti-vehicle measures. Light field guns, typically in the 60mm to 80mm range, represent the smallest a cannon can be before it becomes more effective to simply deploy an autocannon

Before it can be fired, the cannon must be loaded and aimed. It takes one action to load the weapon, one action to aim it, and one action to fire it.

Cannon: Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, range 3,000/10,000 ft., one target. Hit: 83 (15d10) piercing damage. Hit or miss, each creature within 30 feet of the target (including target) must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw, taking 33 (6d10) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A field gun has the Armor Piercing (-5) property.
