Dragon Rage, 2nd Variant (5e Spell)
5th-level Enchantment | |
Casting time: | 1 Bonus action |
---|---|
Range: | Touch |
Components: | A dragon Scale |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
Channeling the might of dragons, you touch a creature and bestow upon it physical might. For the duration, the target gains the following benefits until the spell ends:
- The target adds twice your spellcasting ability modifier to its melee damage rolls.
- The target may wield one two-handed or heavy weapon in one hand with no disadvantage to its attack rolls. However, it cannot dual wield two of these weapons.
- The target gains temporary hit points equal to twice its Constitution modifier + your arcanist level.
- The target has resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage, as well as one damage type of your choice from acid, fire, cold or lightning. If the target is already damage resistance to these damage types, it gains immunity instead, even if the damage is magical.
- The target's speed increases by 10 feet.
- As an action, The target can exhale with the force of a dragon's breath's. Each creature in a 30-foot cone in front of it must make a Dexterity saving throw. Each creature takes 4d6 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a success one.
However, this spell is very physically taxing. When the spell ends, the spell caster gains 1 level of exhaustion. If you concentrate on more than this spell, you gain 1 level of exhaustion per spell in concentration (with the exception of claws of the dragon.) If you end this spell early, the spell target gain one level of exhaustion. You cannot concentrate on this spell twice.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you can affect one more target.
