Dragon Blade (Shinobi World Supplement)
From D&D Wiki
Weapon (Shortsword), Very Rare (Requires attunement) Supposedly forged from the scales of a dragon, the Dragon Blade's material is one of a kind, even if such beasts never existed, capable of choosing a wielder and allowing them to cast nearly any jutsu. In order to attune to this weapon, you must have 40 chakra of any kind for the entire attunement process. Chakra Absorption. Much in the same way as Samehada, potentially hinting at its source, this weapon deals an additional 1d6 necrotic damage or decreases the target's chakra by 1d4+1 points, their choice, as it sucks the life force from its target. If you are attuned, you regain a number of hit points or chakra points equal to the rolled number. Elemental Orbs. While attuned to a Dragon Blade, you may learn jutsu from natures you do not have. You may only cast jutsu learned in this way while wielding the chakra blade. In order to cast any jutsu in this way with a nature that is not basic ninjutsu or taijutsu, you must have its corresponding chakra orb. Basic Nature orbs are Rare magic items, while Kekkei Genkai orbs are Very Rare magic items. Alternatively, you may find unrefined chakra orbs as one magic item rarity lower that can be refined into chakra orbs of the same nature after 48 hours of tooling with jewelers's tools by a creature proficient in the tools. Additionally, while attuned to the dragon blade, you may learn the following jutsu: Dragon Blade Enhancement Cost: 3 chakra Jutsu Type: Bukijutsu When you use a jutsu while wielding the dragon blade, you allow the soul of the blade to guide you as you are wreathed in a dragon-like chakra shroud. Immediately before using the jutsu, you may move up to half your movement speed. Any creatures of your choice within 5 feet of you at any time during this movement must attempt a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 1d12 radiant damage. On a success, they take half as much damage. |
