Double-edged Sword of the Einherjar (5e Equipment)
Weapon (Longsword), Legendary (requires attunement from a creature with a wisdom score of 17 and proficiency with longswords.) This weapon has no powers active when the attuned creature is not in a sense of danger and just seems to be a normal weapon exotic double-bladed longsword, the weapon deals 1d8 slashing damage in its unchanneled, and deals a 1d10 magical slashing when channeled, the weapon also has the properties of Versatile (1d10, 1d12 if channeled) and seems to weight at least 9 to 12 lb. When the attuned creature is within 80-foot of a creature that is hostile or has 'Evil' in their alignment, or when the attuned creature enters combat. The longsword would active its powers and begins to radiate a glowing cyan outline from the metal parts above the hilt with some small blue orbs that also acquire from the hilt. The attuned creature gains the following: The Einherjar. When the weapon is active, the attuned creature takes half as much damage from all damage sources, and if the creature has a resistance to any damage source then the creature would also reduce the damage taken by another half again if the resistance is the same as the damage type. The creature gains a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the weapon. |
