Disintegration Cube (5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
9th-level Transmutation | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | 60 feet |
Components: | V, S, M (a lodestone and a pinch of dust) |
You conjure a completely black 20-foot cube, centered on a point you choose within range. The cube remains in place for the duration. If a creature that can see the wall enter the space occupied by it for the first time or starts its turn there, the creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or takes 40 force damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The target is disintegrated if this damage leaves it with 0 hit points.
A disintegrated creature and everything it is wearing and carrying, except magic items, are reduced to a pile of fine gray dust. The creature can be restored to life only by means of a True Resurrection or a Wish spell.
This cube automatically disintegrates a portion of a nonmagical object or a creation of magical force (such as a wall of force) that enters it.
An Antimagic Field has no effect on the cube, and dispel magic can only dispel 5-foot cube from its area, plus 5-foot cube for each level of the spell slot used beyond the 3rd-level slot with each use.
