Deus[edit]

Alignment. Lawful Good
Domains. Arcana, Forge, Life, Light, Tempest, War
Divine Rank. Greater Deity

Deus is the Good-aligned child of Machina and a greater god of the Sun and Storms. Born from the sparking gears in Machina's clock tower, Deus is an embodiment of pure, uncontrollable Good. Deus often gets into small brawls with their sibling Diabolus, which are quickly broken up by Machina. Deus believes that all Evil needs to be vanquished, lest you become evil yourself. Clerics of Deus often work as monster hunters, fighting fiends and extraplanar evils in the name of their god.

Deus often challenges gods much stronger than themself in the name of "vanquishing evil". This often gets them in trouble, starting fights that could have easily been avoided if they would have just left well enough alone. They also don't really care about any destruction that happens due to their actions, as they believe it would just get in the way of their goal.

Deus is often depicted as a being of pure sparks, with a golden mask covering their face and a red-hot iron glaive in their hand. Long flowing locks of fire flow from their head, leaving a trail behind them. Their avatars often take the form of powerful Evocation Mages or various Fire Elementals.
