Cursed Bubble (5e Creature)
From D&D Wiki
Cursed Bubble[edit]
Small aberration, chaotic evil Armor Class 14 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Wis +3 Necrotic Absorption. Whenever the cursed bubble is subjected to necrotic damage, it takes no damage and instead gains a number of hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt. Dark Cloak. The cursed bubble’s body is burning with magical darkness, which out to a range of 5 feet makes dim light dark, and makes bright light dim light. Any creature which directly touches it takes 14 (4d6) necrotic damage, and is incapacitated for 1 minute. At the end of each of the incapacitated creature's turns, it can make a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw to end the effect early. After a creature takes damage from touching the bubble or the bubble takes cold damage, the bubble's darkness goes out until the end of its next turn or if it is subjected to necrotic damage. Enchanted Flames. While the flame bubble's dark cloak is active, it gains resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. It also receives a flying speed (hover) of 40 feet. If the darkness goes out while it is suspended in the air, it falls to the ground. Magic Resistance. The cursed bubble has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. ACTIONSBash. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage, and the target is exposed to the bubble’s dark cloak if it is active.
