Clan Cat[edit]
Welcome to the world of Warrior Cats. In this world, animals are as intelligent as humans. Only a language barrier and misunderstanding has prevented the two from knowing each other's true intelligence. Clan cats are house hold cats that most of them live near humans but avoid them like dangerous creatures.

Attitudes and Beliefs[edit]
Clan cats believes that heaven is called Starclan and hell is called Place of No Stars (dark forest). Their Medicine cats serve as the role of priest while leaders are known to be visited by Starclan. It is known that both afterlife can visit the living cats through dreams.
Clan Cat Names[edit]
Clan Cats often combine two different nouns. The first noun is chosen by their parents while the second noun is chosen by the leader when they become an "adult". Additionally, kittens' last noun is -kit while children in training has -paw. Leaders loose their second noun and gain the star suffix.
Male: Lionpaw, Firestar, and GrayStripe
Female: Moonkit, Bluestar, and Hollyleaf
Warrior Cat Traits[edit]
Clan cats from Warriors
Ability Score Increase. One of your abilities is increased by 1. This can not cause your total ability score to be increased by 3.
Age. Clan Cats reach maturity at around a year and can live for up to 18 years.
Alignment. Clan Cats can be from any alignment.
Size. Clan Cat varies widely in height and build, from 9-10 pounds and 8-10 inches tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Due to your claws, you have 20 ft climbing speed.
Humanoid in a Beast World. Your creature type is Beast. While you do not have humanoid size nor shapes, you have the humanoid creature type as you are the "humanoid" of this world.
Ultra-low Light Vision. You have a cat's keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light. You can see the darkness within 60 ft as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Unlike darkvision, you require some light to see A few stars in the sky is enough to light to see properly.
Cats Always Land on Four Paws. When you take fall damage, remove 5 ft from the fall distance as long you land on your four feet.
Cat's Claws. Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
Cat's Bite. Your bite are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and "feline."
Subrace. Riverclan, Shadowclan, Thunderclan, Windclan, SkyClan, WarriorClan, Lion Descendance, Tiger Descendance, Leopard Decendance, and Mixed Blood

Riverclan[edit]
Unlike most cats, Riverclan cats enjoy being and even play in the water. With their all-year long diet of fish, they can be plump and oily. It is known that they have the best fur out of all the cats. It is rumored that some Riverclan cats eat food made by Twolegs (human) when they get hungry. As such, some Riverclan cats are kidnapped by twolegs.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2
Slick, Thick Fur. When you are not wearing any armor, you unarmored defense is 11 + your dexterity modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.
Fur-Fish. You have 30 ft swimming speed
Be like the Water. While you are swimming, you can use your bonus action to disengage or dash.
Natural Swimmer. While in water, you always know which way is the surface of the water.
Shadowclan[edit]
Shadowclan are raised to see better and hide better in the dark. While it is true that all cats can see in the dark, cats from Shadowclan can do it better than anyone else. They hunt reptiles and amphibians.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2
Surprise Attack. If you surprise a creature and hit it with an attack on your first turn in combat, the attack deals an extra 2d6 damage to it. You can use this trait only once per combat.
Improved Ultra-low Light Vision. Ultra-low light vision is increased to 120 ft
Blend with Darkness. You have advantage on stealth when in total darkness
Thunderclan[edit]
These cats are born in one of the warrior clans, Thunderclan. These cats are known to live in dense forest with brabbles and thorns. They are more open minded when it comes to ideas. Thunderclan cats tend to be stronger than most cats.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2
Shock and Awe. When you hit a creature, that creature has disadvantage to hit you with attack of opportunity until the end of this turn.
Powerful Build. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Avoiding Thorns. As long as you are moving half speed, you do not take damage from non-magic plants
Opened Mind. You have knowledge of many different skills and can choose which you want to pursue. You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice
Windclan[edit]
These cats are born in one of the warrior clans, Windclan. Despite their smaller and thinner than most cats, they can be very fast when chasing prey or running away from danger. Windclan hunt small prey, like rabbits, in the open grass land.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2
Fastest Cat in the Word. You can take the dash action as a bonus action
Fleetfooted. Your base speed is increased to 35 ft
Blessed by Starclan. You have advantage to resist charm effects.
Skyclan[edit]
These cats are born in one of the warrior clans, Skyclan. Skyclan used to live with the other clan cats in the early history. When twolegs (humans) expanded into their land, they are forced to leave and find a new place far away from the other four. In the late history (or future). Skyclan rejoins the rest of the clans in their new home. Skyclan are amazing jumpers and climbers. They often hunt birds. Similar to Riverclan, they are more open to the Kittypet way of life.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2
Improved Land on Four Legs. When you take fall damage, you can remove 10 ft of fall damage as long you land on your four feet.
Long Legs. As a bonus action, you can jump a number of feet equal to five times your proficiency bonus, without provoking opportunity attacks. You can use this trait only if your speed is greater than 0. You can use it a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Natural Acrobats. You gain acrobatic skill and have an advantage on acrobatics checks to balance yourself
Warriorclan[edit]
Unlike the other clans, Warriorclan is made up of Kittypets and Loners. They do follow the traditions of the clans. When night comes, Kittypets go back to their owners and the Loners stay near to twoleg (human) structure. It is an attempt to get the best of two worlds: easier life for being near twolegs and more combat and survival training from the clans.
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 2
Balanced Lifestyle. Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level.
Friends of the TwoLegs. You have an advantage on Persuasion and Performance checks on TwoLeg (human).
Warrior Training. You gain proficiency in one simple weapon of your choice
Mixed Blood[edit]
Interbreeding between two different subraces or certain races are possible. When it happens, the child get traits from both parents. Choose one race and subrace to be the mother and a different one for the father. You can pick from any subraces and race from warrior cats Races.
Ability Score Increase. The main ability score from your mother side is increased by 1 and the main ability score from your father side is increased by 1
Mother's Gift. You gain one race or subrace ability from your mother's side
Father's Gift. You gain one race or subrace ability from your father's side
Mythical Clans[edit]
It is a popular belief that cats come from the three big cats: lions, tigers, and Leopards. In the clan, they are described groups of these great cats as Lionclan, Tigerclan, and Leopardclan.
Lionclan Descendent[edit]
You express the lion traits more than most cats. Lions are known to be brave and strong,
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2
Lion's Roar. As a bonus action, you can let out an especially menacing roar. Creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. The DC of the save equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Brave. You have advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the frightened condition on yourself.
Tiger Descendent[edit]
You express the tiger traits more than most cats. Tiger are known to see well in the dark and hiding from prey.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2
Surprise Attack. If you surprise a creature and hit it with an attack on your first turn in combat, the attack deals an extra 2d6 damage to it. You can use this trait only once per combat.
Natural Night Hunter. Ultra-low light vision is increased to 120 ft
Striped Pelt. You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage, heavy rain, falling snow, mist, and other natural phenomena.
Leopard Descendent[edit]
You express the leopard traits more than most cats. Unlike the other subraces, this is purely your blood. Leopards are known to be fast and best at hunting.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 2
Feline Agility. Your reflexes and agility allow you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns.
Natural Hunter. You have an advantage on all checks to hunt and kill prey (Beast Creatures with CR 0).
Leopard's Speed. Your base speed is increased to 35 ft.
Custom Clan Cat[edit]
There could be all sorts of different clan cats out their. Ask your GM if you are allowed to create or use non-cannon clan cat. There is two ways to create a clan cat subrace: Pick and Choose method and Detect Balance Guide Method. Regardless of the method all subraces have "One of your ability scores is increased by 2." for free.
Detect Balance Guide is using an excel document to balance your subrace. You have 8 points to buy traits. Detect Balance: a 5e Homebrew Race Guide. The Large cat and Flying Cat, as seen in the Big Trait below, has the value of 5 points.
Pick and Choose Method is seen below. You can pick 2 big, 1 big and 1 small, or 3 small traits from below to be the traits of your subrace.
Big Trait[edit]
+1 ASI[edit]
One of your ability scores is increased by 1. This can not cause your total ability score to be increased by 3. This can be chosen only once.
Naturally Magical[edit]
You have innate magical ability, Choose one 1st or 2nd level spell from any spell list. You can cast this spell without any components once per long rest. Your spell casting is Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.
Common Resistance[edit]
You have resistance to fire or poison.
Advantage on a Roll[edit]
You gain advantage to a skill check when a common condition is meet. Ex: You have advantage to all perception checks when you are in bright or dim light.
Armor Training[edit]
You gain proficiency in Light and Medium armor. This does not grant proficiency in shields.
Naturally Stealthy[edit]
You can attempt to hide even when you are obscured only by a creature that is at least one size larger than you.
Relentless Endurance[edit]
When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
Large Cat[edit]
You are between a large creature and a medium creature. Your size becomes large. For the purpose of natural, unarmed, and weapon attacks, you are a medium sized creature. As such, your melee attack range does not increased by 5 ft from being large. Your movement speed is reduced to 5 ft when a small or bigger creature is ridding you.
Flying Cat[edit]
Similar to flying squirrel, flaps or wings to glide through the air. When you fall at least 10 feet above the ground, you can use your reaction to extend your skin membranes or wings to glide. For every 5 ft of movement you take, you fall down 5 ft. Your falling distance is increased to 15 ft with medium armor and 30 ft with heavy armor. If you end of your turn without moving at least 10 ft on your turn, you fall 60 ft and potentially take fall damage.
Small Trait[edit]
Free Cantrip[edit]
You learn one cantrip from any spell list. Your spell casting is Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.
Uncommon Resistance[edit]
You gain resistance to Radiant, Force, Psychic or Thunder, Cold, Lightning, Necrotic, or Acid.
Speedy[edit]
Your movement is increased to 35 ft
Natural Swimmer[edit]
You gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
Aggressive[edit]
As a bonus action, you can move up to your speed toward an enemy of your choice that you can see or hear. You must end this move closer to the enemy than you started.
Early Combat Training[edit]
You gain proficiency in 2 martial weapons of your choice.
Thick Fur[edit]
While not wearing any armor, you natural armor is 13+Dex armor. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.
Powerful Build[edit]
You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Savage Attacks[edit]
When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.
