Prestige Class: Cannibal Ghoul[edit]

Despite often being generalized as cannibals, ghouls are genetically distinct from humans. However, if a ghoul truly becomes a cannibal, they are often able to awaken power far beyond that of a typical ghoul.

Prerequisites[edit]

To qualify for multiclassing into the cannibal ghoul class, you must meet these prerequisites: 20th level Tokyo Ghoul

Class Features[edit]

As a Cannibal Ghoul you gain the following class features.

Kakuja[edit]

At 1st level, you gain one of many Kakujas. You gain additional features at 4th, 7th, and 10th level.

Ability Score Increase[edit]

When you reach 2nd level, and again at 6th and 9th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. You can't increase an ability score above 30 using this feature.

Advanced Senses[edit]

At 3rd level, when you take the search action, you can detect the location of living or dead Humanoids, as well as Undead, within 60 ft. of you.

Thicker Skin[edit]

At 5th level, your ghoul skin is not only more resilient than a normal ghoul's, but regenerates a small amount after being damaged. You take 3 less damage from all sources while you have at least 1 RC Cell.

Lasting[edit]

At 8th level, the length of time you can go between eating is doubled and the amount of hit points regained by Regeneration is doubled.

Kakujas[edit]

No Face[edit]

The No Face Kakuja can only be gained by a ghoul with the Shape Shifting Rare Ability.

Incomplete No Face

At 1st level, you may activate your Kakuja as an action. You gain 2 additional Kagune-like arms sprouting from your shoulders with 1/2 your hit points and a mask-like lump of flesh. You may attack once with each arm and once with your own arms on a single attack action. Your unarmed strikes, including those by your new arm Kagune, deal 1d4 + 2 + your Strength or Dexterity modifier bludgeoning damage. You must spend 4 RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain this form, and you become Berserk. This form ends if you can not maintain it or if you can not sense any consumable Humanoids.

Half No Face

At 4th level, you gain 4 additional pairs of arm Kagune while in your Kakuja form.

Face Stealer

At 7th level, your grappling checks gain a +6 bonus while in Kakuja form. As an action while grappling a humanoid, you may attempt to open your Kagune-like mask and consume them whole. They must succeed a DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your Proficiency bonus Strength saving throw or take 20d4 + your Strength modifier necrotic damage. Dealing damage with this feature counts as eating a small amount of human flesh, and reducing a creature to 0 hit points with this feature kills them instantly as you consume their entire body.

Faceless Destroyer

At 10th level, your unarmed strikes and Face Stealer deal twice as much damage, and your Shape Shifting lasts indefinitely.

Centipede[edit]

The Centipede Kakuja can only be gained by a ghoul with a Rinkaku.

Incomplete Centipede

At 1st level, you may activate your Kakuja as an action. You gain 2 additional hard, centipede-like Rinkaku Kagune that have twice as many hit points as your regular Rinkaku extending out of your waist and a bug-like mask that covers your face. In addition, your Kagune gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls and a +1 bonus to your AC while this form is active. Your movement speed increase by +10 ft. and you gain a climbing speed of your movement speed, and you become Berserk. You must spend 3 RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain this form. This form ends if you can not maintain it or if you can not sense any consumable Humanoids.

Half Centipede

At 4th level, your Kakuja form gains an additional 2 Centipede Rinkaku Kagune, and your Kagune gain a +2 bonus to their attack and damage rolls. Your movement speed also increases by +10 ft. When this form is active, you may spend 5 RC Cells as a bonus action or reaction to gain resistance to one damage type until the beginning of your next turn. Your AC increases by +2 instead of +1.

Full Centipede

At 7th level, you've masterfully developed your Centipede form. Your Kakuja form gains an additional 2 Centipede Rinkaku Kagune, and all Kagune have a +3 to attack and damage rolls. Your AC is increase by +3 instead of +2. Your movement speed increases by +20 ft. You gain resistance to all damage.

One-Eyed King

At 10th level, you finally gain control of your Kakuja. You are no longer Berserk while in your Kakuja form, your Kagune gain an additional 10 ft. of reach, your Kagune deal twice as much damage, and when you use Regeneration, every creature within 5 ft. of you must attempt a DC 8 + your Constitution modifier + your Proficiency bonus Constitution saving throw, taking an equal amount of thunder damage as hit points you regained on a failure, and taking half as much damage on a success.

Jail[edit]

The Jail Kakuja can only be gained by a a ghoul with a Chimera Kagune.

Chimera

At 4th level, you gain 1 additional Kagune, as well as all of its features. You also gain all the Kagune features of both of your Chimera Kagune. You gain an additional Kagune at 7th level.

Kakuja

At 10th level, you may activate your Kakuja as an action. You must spend 3 RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain this form. This form ends if you can not maintain it or if you can not sense any consumable Humanoids. You become Berserk and your size category increases to Huge.

Tatara[edit]

The Tatara Kakuja can only be gained by a ghoul with Pseudo-Pyrokinesis, Pseudo-Electricity, or RC Blast.

Channeled Element

At 1st level, you may activate your Kakuja as an action. Your rare ability counts as an attack for the sake of the Extra Attack feature, and only costs 4 RC to activate. You must spend 4 RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain this form, and you become Berserk. This form ends if you can not maintain it or if you can not sense any consumable Humanoids.

Carapace

At 4th level, your Kakuja form gains a thick, mech-like armor. Your AC increases by +3 while in Kakuja, and your movement speed decreases by 10 ft. You may forgo this effect as a bonus action, increasing your base movement speed by +10 ft. until you revert to your previous effect as a bonus action or Kakuja ends.

Flamethrower

At 7th level, while in Kakuja, you become resistant to the damage type your Rare Ability deals, and your Rare Ability deals 10d6 damage.

Master of the Elements

At 10th level, you finally gain control of your Kakuja. While in your Kakuja form you are no longer Berserk, you gain a damage reduction of 5, you become immune to your Rare Ability's damage type, and you become resistant to fire, lightning, and thunder damage.

Owl[edit]

The Owl Kakuja can only be gained by a ghoul with a Ukaku.

Incomplete Owl

At 1st level, you may activate your Kakuja as an action. You gain 2 additional hard Koukaku Kagune, as well as all features related to the Koukaku Kagune. In addition, your Kagune gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls and a +1 bonus to your AC while this form is active, and you become Berserk. You must spend 3 RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain this form. This form ends if you can not maintain it or if you can not sense any consumable Humanoids.

Non-Killing Owl

At 4th level, while in Kakuja, your Koukaku Kagune gain +10 ft. of reach. When this form is active, you may spend 5 RC Cells as a bonus action or reaction to gain resistance to one damage type until the beginning of your next turn. Your AC increases by +2 instead of +1.

One-Eyed Owl

At 7th level, you've developed into a complete owl. While in your Kakuja form, your size increases by 1 category to a minimum of Large, you gain a flying speed equal to your movement speed, your Kagune no longer have unique hit points, you gain your Kagune's hit points as temporary hit points, and all Kagune have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Your AC is increase by +3 instead of +2.

True Owl

At 10th level, you finally gain control of your Kakuja. While in your Kakuja form, you are no longer Berserk, you may increase or decrease your size category by 1 as an action form your original size category to two categories above it to a minimum of Huge, your Kagune deal twice as much damage, and your flying speed is doubled.

Arata Proto[edit]

The Arata Proto Kakuja can only be gained by a ghoul with a Koukaku Kagune.

Incomplete Arata Proto

At 1st level, you may activate your Kakuja as an action. Your arms and back are covered in plate armor, granting you a +3 bonus to your AC and causing you to become Berserk. You must spend 3 RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain this form. This form ends if you can not maintain it or if you can not sense any consumable Humanoids.

Arata Proto · II

At 4th level, your armor extends across your entire body. You gain a +3 bonus to any saving throws you make while in Kakuja. As a bonus action while in Kakuja, you may strengthen its defenses, granting you an additional +2 bonus to your AC and saving throws, but halving your movement speed and causing you to spend 3 additional RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain your Kakuja until you end this effect as a bonus action.

Arata Joker

At 7th level, your armor follows the curvature of your body more closely, allowing for better use of its material. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls while in Kakuja. As a bonus action while in Kakuja, you may sprout blades across its surface, causing your Kagune to deal an additional die of damage, but causing you to spend 3 additional RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain your Kakuja until you end this effect as a bonus action.

Arata II

At 10th level, your armor follows the curvature of your bones exactly, granting it a skull-like visage, and you finally gain control of your Kakuja. You are no longer Berserk while in your Kakuja form. As a bonus action while in Kakuja, you may vastly increase the flow of RC Cells throughout your entire body, causing your Kagune to deal an additional die of damage and granting you a +1 bonus to your AC, attack and damage rolls, and saving throws, but causing you to spend 3 additional RC Cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain your Kakuja until you end this effect as a bonus action.

Noro[edit]

The Noro Kakuja can only be gained by a ghoul with a Bikaku type Kagune.

Unfinished Noro

At 1st level, you may activate your Kakuja as a bonus action. Your kagune forms many, many, many mouths on it and one large mouth on the end. Whenever you deal damage with your kagune or unarmed strikes against a creature that is not a construct, you regain one fourth as many hit points. You may swallow the corpse of a creature that is Medium or smaller as an action, along with any items they are carrying, and you count as having ate them. While in this form, you are considered Berserk and you must spend 3 RC cells at the beginning of each turn to maintain this form. This form ends if you can not maintain it or if you can not sense any consumable Humanoids.

Hungry Noro

At 4th level, your Kagune becomes more hungry, yet can pick up and digest trace amounts of RC. Your time between needing to consume humanoids is halved, but you gain twice as many RC cells from eating humanoids, and can eat any living non-humanoid that isn't a plant or construct for the normal amount of RC cells.

All-Consuming Noro

At 7th level, you can absorb RC cells from any living matter. Unfinished Noro's swallow can be done on any creature, and eating any creature that isn't a construct, humanoid, or living grants you half as many RC cells as eating a living non-humanoid. Additionally, when you deal damage while your Kakuja is active, you regain half as many hit points.

Devourer of Worlds

At 10th level, you're no longer berserk when you activate your Kakuja, and you regain an equal amount of hit points as damage dealt. You can also upgrade your Kakuja as an action, reducing your movement speed to 0, granting you a +5 bonus to your AC, and increasing your size category by 2 to a maximum of Huge.
