This content intends to provide a different experience, or goes beyond the scope of the anticipated subjects and situations, than the 5th edition rules were intended to handle. Some portions of the content below may not be what you expect from traditional game content. When implementing this content, DMs and Players should read over all the information carefully, and consider the following specific notes of interest:
This boon is stronger than the vanilla Boon of Immortality, which only provides agelessness, even though it is true that the vanilla Boon of Immortality doesn't prevent death saving throws. There's a case to be made that the vanilla Boon of Immortality is weak compared to other boons, but caution is still advised. Keep in mind this boon isn't suitable for all tables.

Boon of Immortality[edit]

You are now immortal. The source of your immortality is divine, or otherwise very powerful. It's very hard for you to stay dead.

I have returned

Should you die, you will return to life at dawn, as if affected by true resurrection, but with one level of exhaustion. This happens even if your body is not intact. You cannot return to life if your soul is trapped (i.e. by a lich's phylactery) or destroyed, if you are killed by divine means, or if your immortality is removed by means of a wish spell.
You also do not age past the point where your race reaches maturity, but you can still get sick. Any aging you've experienced past maturity before acquiring this boon will happen in reverse, at a 1:1 ratio, until you reach that point.

Go into the light

On the flip-side, fear of death is an excellent motivator for most, but not for you. At 0 hit points, you instantly die without making a saving throw.
