Bone Marrow Ash (5e Equipment)

Wondrous item, common (minor) Bone marrow ash is exactly what it says on the tin: Refined and purified bone marrow cremations. For reasons few understand, it enhances the killing power of ranged weaponry. In civilized parts, it comes in handy little packets that you can tear open and spill half the contents of all over the floor. Weapon Infusion. As a bonus action, you may infuse a ranged weapon with one ounce of bone marrow ash; this infusion lasts for 1 minute. The next ranged attack roll you make with this weapon before the end of the duration becomes magical, and deals an additional 6 damage on a hit. Hit or miss, the bone marrow ash is spent after one attack. No, you may not use it on melee weapons or melee weapon attacks.
