Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement)

The Bloodthirster is an ancient taboo weapon sought by the cruelest beings. It drains the life of anything the blade touches.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, which has the properties of a vicious weapon. When you hit a hostile creature with this magic weapon, you may choose to regain a number of hit points equal to twice the total amount of damage dealt. Once you use this property of the weapon, it can't be used again until the next dawn.
