From D&D Wiki
1st-level Transmutation | |
Casting time: | 1 action |
---|---|
Range: | 120 feet |
Components: | V, S |
Duration: | Concentration, up to 1 minute |
You choose a Tiny nonmagical object that you can see within range that is not worn or carried and animate it. It appears in the space it was located in, and uses the Minor Animated Object stat block. When the spell ends or the animated object hits 0 hit points, it reverts to its original object form, and any remaining damage carries over to its original object form.
The animated object is an ally to you and your companions. In combat, the animated object shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it takes the Dodge action and uses its move to avoid danger.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, use the higher level whenever the spell’s level appears in the stat block.
