The arms of the winged warrior

Lawful Good
Domains: Justice
Warpriest Domain: Protection

Anheldr was a goddess within the personal guard of Vatar, and a close friend of his daughter Roga. She was one of his vanguards who blew a magical horn to summon their forces to battle. Her iconic image was that of a female Viking goddess with wings, and she was also known to bring valiant warriors who fell in battle to Valia so they might be honored. She was ultimately slain when Roga incited a coup against Vatar following the Gorge.

Those who believed in Anheldr hold her following teachings close to heart:

  • Aid the weak, spare the dying, and help the poor. There was often suffering not attributed to wrongdoing, and in Anheldr's eyes, these people did not deserve to be punished.
  • Take pride in that what is just will always be so. For Anheldr, justice was something that would always exist. This did not mean it was necessarily monolithic, but it often ended up being so.
  • The just need not fear death. Those who died protecting what was right would be rewarded after life.

Description[edit]

Anheldr is commonly depicted as a woman in shining armor with a long polearm weapon and wings.
