The bloody beard of the father

Chaotic Evil
Domains: Tyranny
Warpriest Domain: Strength

Va Mor means "father's killer" in the tongue of Hocheim. She was originally named Roga, and was the sole child of Vatar, and he had constantly doted on her. However, she grew dissatisfied with him and his guidance of the Old World's pantheon, particularly after the Gorge. Vatar refused to exploit the dwindling faith of mortals, even to save his fellow gods who served in his court. Ultimately, Roga took to staging a coup against her father with other dissenters. Vatar met her forces and his seasoned warriors struck hers down. However, despite being one of the last ones standing, she challenged her father to a duel, and he obliged. When it came time to strike the final blow, Vatar could not deliver it on his daughter whom he loved so much. So Roga struck her father with an underhanded blow, and that that moment, when she felled the mighty Storm Father, she took on the name Va Mor.

To the horror of the onlookers, she desecrated her father's body right then and there, cutting off the skin of the lower half of his face and removing it with his beard. With that brutal gesture, she usurped control of the Storm Striker's court. She wears that now as her mask, a trophy and symbol of her depravity. Shortly after she took over the ruins of the pantheon, she also had all her father's sympathizers murdered and replaced.

  • Power Is Absolute: The strong deserve to exist, and the weak are tools to that end.
  • No Mercy: Those who are not for you will be against you tomorrow.
  • Brutality: Power is best shown, not hidden.

Description[edit]

Roga.png

Va Mor is commonly depicted as a young woman who has a man's beard plastered on her face, giving her a very terrifying look. In some versions of the story, the flesh of her father is rotting and gives the lower half of her face the appearance of undead. She usually wears a mix of hide and heavy armor. She has taken her father's weapon, Himmelmeister, and topped it with a dragon's skull. She cannot wield it to its full power, however...
