An icy sword forms in your hand and sweeps toward a creature of your choice within range. Make a melee spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 cold damage and 2d6 slashing damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the cold damage or the slashing damage (your choice) increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
