Weapon (broadsword and buckler), legendary (requires attunement)

Weapon once wielded by the Champion of the Undead Match. A special paired set consisting of a broad sword and a buckler. A blessing binds the two weapons together, and they are worthless if separated. The champion fought on, without rest, until he lost his mind. In the end, only his page and a lone wolf stayed at his side.

The magical, golden-inlaid sword is a broadsword that has a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. The magical, metal buckler with the head of a lion carved into it and has a +1 bonus to Armor Class. This paired set of magical items has 2 charges.

Lion's Stance. As an action, you may spend a charge to raise the sword high behind your head, and raise the buckler directly in front of you, entering a "Lion's Stance" for 1 minute. While in this stance, you can use an attack action to attack as if the broadsword had the reach property. Alternatively, when a creature melee attacks you while you're in this stance, you can use your reaction to block the attack with the shield, giving off a small explosion of holy light, effectively ending the creatures attack.

This paired set of magical items regains all spent charges at dawn.
