Welcome to D&D Wiki[edit]
Hello Wolfen Fenrison, and welcome to D&D Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like D&D Wiki and decide to stay. I am the owner of the site, and if you have a question feel free to ask me, however when contacting anyone on D&D Wiki through talk pages please sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Also, if you want to help D&D Wiki but just don't know how drop me a note and I'll see what I can do. However, when dropping me a note please tell me how much time you would like to spend working and how well you know the Wiki Format. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a D&D Wikian! If you need help ask me on my talk page, or just right here. Again, welcome! --Green Dragon 23:17, 3 December 2006 (MST)
Hm...[edit]
Does it not work? Tell me if it does not. Anyway, I saw you are updating D20 Modern to the new way of adding things. This is a great thing, but you are forgetting to do something. You know how you are linking to the "Add something to the list of" thing? Well.... The page you are adding the link to needs a spot in the Add something to the list of page. For example, the vehicles page is not on the add something to the list of page, and it needs to be. I hope this makes sense...

Formatting.[edit]
Would it be possible to make the "D20 Modern" main page look like the "dungeons and Dragons" main page? Oh, answer on my talk page as well (It will say "new Message" to me :) ) Anyway, thanks.

Whew[edit]
Whew, I though you stopped caring about this site, and I even considered getting rid of the D20 Modern part of the site, I was having bad thoughts.... But, now your back :).
Anyway, I was wondering if you could make the D20 Modern main page (D20 Modern) look like the D&D Main page (simple, not crowded, etc.) Is this possible?
--Green Dragon 20:00, 22 March 2006 (MST)
Okay...[edit]
First off, you should always answer on the other persons talk page (just so you know they got the message). The only reason that I saw this is because I go through all the recent changes on the site (on the toolbox).
Anyway, what you should do to the D20 Modern Main Page:
- At the top, put in "Please, take a look at the Help Page."
- Finally, get rid of all the stuff on the bottom and replace it with ""
- Get rid of all the crap as well.
Note - Do not worry about the template things, I will most likely be moving them off the Main D&D page.
Did this help? Any other questions just tell me :) .
Well..[edit]
I do not know much about D20 Modern, so if their are some sections that you do not think are needed, I guess delete them. You are the Admin for the D20 Modern part, do what you think is best, that is your part of the site. Anyway, I am not sure what you mean about a Character, but if you send the character to me (great.wyrm.green.dragon@gmail.com) I will see what would be best to do with it (I should be able to figure it out :) ). Also, have you started advertising the D20 Modern part of D&D Wiki yet, I mean I think only Psiseveredhead has done anything to the D20 Modern part since your internet shut off... Lastly, you should finish making all the sub-categories (D20 Modern Character Optimizations, etc.) have the same look (with the "add something to the list of" thing).

About Formatting on the D20 Modern part and Sending the Character Sheet.[edit]
Okay, what I meant by "Sub-Categories" (completely wrong word....) was all the pages you can go to when you are on the D20 Modern main page (things like the Base Classes, Advanced Classes pages, etc.). About the Character sheet, sure, send it over.

My Email[edit]
I thought I already gave it to you, but oh well. here it is: great.wyrm.green.dragon@gmail.com Also, I look forward to seeing the D20 Modern things look nicer, and fit standards.

Hey...[edit]
Hey, you might want to look at the "D20 Modern" discussion page. I just saw a question directed at you on their when I was seeing the changes that happened on D&D Wiki. Thanks.

MSRD?[edit]
I am sorry, I do not remember you asking me... Anyway, what is MSRD? I could help, I just need to know what it is.

About the MSRD.[edit]
I think this would be a great idea, and actually I think that Dmilewski has already been talking about doing this, you might want to contact him (he is one of the 4 "Admins" of the site (you, me, Blue_Dragon, and Dmilewski)).
--Green Dragon 20:34, 25 April 2006 (MST)
Here is the link you asked for[edit]
here is the link you asked for, I hope all goes well.

D20 Modern SRD[edit]
Right now, my plate is still full with the SRD. If you want to post the MSRD, please take the lead. Its a big project. I'm happy to give you advice. If you know perl, I'm happy to share scripts. If you don't know perl, I'm happy to help you do some basic conversions. Software is your friend. Use it.

MSRD[edit]
What's happening with the MSRD? What have you guys decided? Please tell me....
--Green Dragon 13:27, 29 April 2006 (MST)
The MSRD will probably not get done...[edit]
So, because no one is willing to lead the MSRD it will not get done, however, do not feel pressured because of this thread to do it. I am not expecting it to get done, but oh well... Maybe in a bit someone would like to do it, but for right now I do not see it getting done.

Going away for 4 Days[edit]
Hello. I am going to be going away this weekend (Today to Sunday night). So, if you have some spare time it would be very appreciated if you could check Recent Changes and make sure things are correctly wikified and their are no spam edits. I hope you can help, and thanks in advance. --Green Dragon 11:42, 12 October 2006 (MDT)

De-Adminship[edit]
You are no longer an admin since you have not been active in over a year (Last edit at 11:39, 8 December 2006). If you would like to start contributing once again and become an admin please start an RfA. Thanks, and sorry. --Green Dragon 15:00, 28 February 2008 (MST)
Fallout setting[edit]
Thanks for updating the Fallout setting pages. d20 Modern doesn't really have preloads (something I'll be rectifying soon), but make sure you are formatting your entries correctly and adding the appropriate categories. Thanks, JazzMan 03:25, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
- Was there anything wrong with my formating or where I placed content? --Wolfen 06:01, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- The d20 Modern creatures are sort of a mess right now, so there's no "offical" formatting... yet, so I guess the formatting is fine for now. If you want them to look a little nicer you can use the template, which will soon be updated for d20 Modern. More important, though, are categories and breadcrumbs. At the bottom of each of your pages should be the following:
- ----
- d20 Modern Creatures Breadcrumb → CR <INSERT CR HERE>
-
-
-
-
-
-
0_o ... I'm not up on wiki coding sorry?!?--Wolfen 00:52, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Maybe you add that to one the entries I edited so I can see what its supposed to look like? --Wolfen 01:04, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Sure thing. I've edited Giant Rat for you. In my first edit, I added the code I was talking about above. Since the giant rat is only a CR 1/4, it falls into the "1 or less" category. In my second edit, I have applied a new template to your creature. This makes it display in a more readable format. In this second edit (I forgot to do it in the first edit) I also added your page to Category:Fallout Setting. This category helps keep everything from the Fallout CS in one place.
- Since you last edited, I've been doing some work to the creatures, so it should be even easier for you to add them now. You can go to this page, type the name you want (though change the "d20 modern creature" modifier to say "Fallout Supplement", just as you have already been doing), and a preformated page will be started for you. If you have any questions about the template see here. If you have any more questions, I'm glad to help! JazzMan 05:14, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- The only problem I have with the stat block is the format I was using is how enemy stats are presented in the d20 Modern books. --Wolfen 17:35, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Well unfortunately it's either not going to match the book or it's not going to match much of the wiki. The d20 Modern stuff is a mess right now, but eventually all creatures are going to use the template. You don't have to use the template, but eventually someone else will just have to add it anyway. Besides, I don't know about you, but I find the template a lot easier to read and use than the book format; it was specifically made with the interlinking nature of a wiki in mind, whereas the book formatting was designed to be condensed and static. JazzMan 18:01, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Could post the code for the template then? --Wolfen 18:05, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, one thing I noticed missing is a spot for Special Attacks, it should be above Special Qualities. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wolfen Fenrison (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts.
- The d20 Modern stat block doesn't include Special Attacks, those are a D&D-only mechanic. See here; there's no description of SA's at all. As far as I can tell, anything that would normally be labeled a special attack (gaze, constrict, and so on) are listed under Special Qualities instead. JazzMan 18:34, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
Ok, first of all, don't undo my addition of a template, as you did here. The templates are not a suggestion; they are the way all d20 Modern pages need to be formatted. Secondly, I see you are still creating creatures in the improper format. Do you still need help using the template, or are you intentionally ignoring it? JazzMan 09:21, 4 April 2011 (MDT)
