Devo the Cursed

Stand Proud Focus. Devo takes 3 less damage from from non magical piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning damage. He also has advantage on saving throws against being Charmed, Frightened, and Paralyzed.

Exchange Blows. When Devo takes damage from a hostile creature or as a bonus action, he makes a DC 11 Constitution saving throw. On a success, he and Strength can make 1 additional melee attack on each of their turns. Devo can only have up to 3 "Exchange Blows Stacks" at once. Using extra attacks during his turn does not consume the stacks. He may spend 1 stack to make a melee attack against creature that attacks him without using a reaction. All stacks are lost once initiative ends.

Exploit the Armor. When Devo successfully hits a creature with a melee attack, his melee attack rolls gain a +1 bonus against the target for 24 hours. This can stack up to +5.

Brawler. Devo and Ebony Devil are proficient in Improvised Weapons.

Spirit Points. Devo has 5 spirit points which they may expend. He regains all spirit points at the end of a long rest.

ACTIONS

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

Manifestation of Will. Any feature that effects Devo also effects Ebony Devil. Devo can summon or de-summon Ebony Devil as a bonus action. If Devo becomes unconcious, the Stand instantly de-summons. Ebony Devil and Devo use the same action and bonus action, but moving Ebony Devil uses a free action. Ebony Devil can only move up to 80 ft. of the Stand user, and moves in parallel with the Stand user when they move beyond the 80 ft. radius.

Invisible Force. Only Stand users and creatures with any form of spellcasting can see Ebony Devil, otherwise it is invisible. A creature that can not see Stands can attempt a DC 25 Wisdom saving throw after being damaged by a Stand. On a success, it can sense Ebony Devil, and it is no longer invisible to them. Ebony Devil can phase through creatures/objects and everything seen by Ebony Devil is also seen by Devo.

Hatred Increase. For every 7 hit points Devo loses, Ebony Devil gains +1 Strength and Dexterity.

ACTIONS

Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d4 + 5) slashing damage.

Bind. Ebony Devil attempts to grapple a creature within 15 ft. with chains, restraining them on his success. They remain restrained until the chains are attacked as an action. Devo can spend 2 spirit point to do this as a bonus action, or 4 to do this as a free action.

Hatred Focus. As a bonus action, Devo focuses his hatred on a single creature he can see. Until that creature dies, his bonuses from “Hatred Increase” are doubled against that creature. Devo can not focus on another creature until they die, he ends a long rest, or he spends 3 spirit points as an action.
