Staff of Serpent Form (5e Equipment)

Staff, very rare (requires attunement) A quiet hissing sound can be heard coming from this black and gold staff. The end of the staff looks like the head of a snake and will attempt to bite creatures that get too close and is not attuned. This staff functions as a magic quarterstaff with a +2 bonus to damage attack rolls. When you use the staff to make a melee attack, you can choose to do either piercing or bludgeoning damage. Serpent Form: As a bonus action, you can activate the staff and cause it to meld with your arm. For one minute, your arm is replaced with a snake. You may make a melee attack with your snake arm, dealing 1d6 piercing damage and 3d6 poison damage on a hit. Additionally, the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or suffer from the poisoned condition. When you attune to the staff, you may use the following effect 1d4 times per day, with the uses recharging at dawn: -You turn into a giant snake for an hour. The stats and description are decided by the DM (Usually a Giant Constrictor Snake - Monster Manual pg. 324). When the snake's hit points are reduced to zero, you transform back into human form and take any damage that gets carried over, like the druid's wildshape feature. -You can talk in a hissing voice while in snake form, you gain advantage on intimidation checks .
