Huge plant, chaotic evil Armor Class 12 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Str +6, Wis +4, Cha +1 Mitigate Attacks. The manhandla cannot take more than 30 damage from a single attack. Any damage from an attack above 30 is effectively reduced to 30. This feature has no effect on damage which does not involve an attack roll. Wounded Fury. While it has 30 hit points or fewer, the manhandla has advantage on attack rolls, and it can take the Dash action as a bonus action on each of its turns. ACTIONSMultiattack. The manhandla makes four attacks. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) piercing damage. Seed Shot. Ranged Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

A manhandla appears as a gargantuan and brightly-colored tree-like creature over 15 feet in height, which from its central bark-like body sprouts several large flower-like buds each the size of a grown man. Each bud is lined not with petals but fangs, and ravishly devours seemingly anything it comes across. Any manhandla is pure destructive chaos, tearing and biting everything from living creatures to solid walls—and they are known to spin erratically, as if the four heads are all fighting for a chance to bite into whatever prey they have most recently found. |
Variant: Shocking Manhandla
Rarely, a manhandla develops a magical, bark-like, red-colored covering over its entire body. This supernatural bark shocks anything that attacks it directly, making it remarkably more difficult to defeat. Its AC increases to 14. It gains the following feature:
