Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement) This leather-bound tome is possessed of a soft green aura and an almost overwhelming pine aroma. It has the symbol of a tree drawn upon its front face. These tomes are almost always a byproduct of feywild influence on a random book in the material plane, causing it to transform into a wild lexicanum botanica that can only be safely used by pacifying it with a remove curse spell. Charges. The lexicanum botanica has 5 charges, 1d3 + 2 of which regenerate daily at dawn. As an action, you may use a charge to cast the polymorph spell to transform a target creature within range into an awakened shrub. The creature's Wisdom saving throw is made against a save DC of 15. Casting polymorph in this way does not require concentration to sustain the effect.
